Learning support for children with language learning opportunities for parents / family members
Learning together as a family! Do you have questions about school? Would you like to practise German? "Schule verstehen – Deutsch und mehr" helps you practise German and provides information about school and education in Austria. Important questions about everyday school life are answered. Children and other family members learn at the same time and in the same place.
The offer is available for school-age children/young people aged approx. 6-14 and their parents / family members.
Joint registration of children and other family members is a prerequisite for participation.
Who can participate:
The offer is aimed at pupils, who have been newly admitted to Viennese elementary school (approx. 6-10 years old) or Viennese secondary schools or AHS lower grades (approx. 10-14 years old) as well as their parents or other family members, who have recently arrived in Austria (e.g. asylum seekers, persons entitled to asylum, third-country nationals, families from a non-german-speaking EU country, etc.)
